About Us

Western Ultrasound for Women has a cohesive team of specialist doctors and ultrasonographers with a broad range of experience in all areas of Obstetrics and Gynaecology imaging, with a well-organised and approachable secretarial support staff.

Dr Tony Murphy has been providing pregnancy screening with diagnostic ultrasound for low and high risk pregnancies in Western Australia since 1984. He was one of the initial 3 Obstetricians granted subspecialist recognition in Obstetric and Gynaecology ultrasound by RANZCOG in Western Australia. Dr Murphy was subsequently joined by Dr Emmeline Lee, Dr Seonaid Mulroy, and Dr Glen Lo. And Dr Luigi D’Orsogna works with our practice as a specialist fetal and paediatric cardiologist. In 2022, Western Ultrasound for Women welcomed Consultant Obstetrician Dr Chhaya Mehrotra to our clinics.

From 2017 to 2020, we also had the pleasure of working with Maternal Fetal Medicine sub-specialist Prof Jan Dickinson. Prof Dickinson works with the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences at The University of Western Australia, and is Head of the Maternal Fetal Medicine Service at King Edward Hospital.

Western Ultrasound for Women regard excellence and compassion its highest priorities.
