The professional service at Western Ultrasound for Women begins at the front desk, with our reception team having many years of experience in this specialised area of medicine.

The practice receptionists facilitate the smooth running of daily clinics. The team will explain procedures, provide you with helpful information, and aim to create a compassionate environment during your appointment.

Dependent on your test or procedure, the staff may ask you some questions and may ask you to fill in a questionnaire. Anything you tell any member of staff is treated in the strictest confidence. For more information, please see our Frequently Asked Questions.

Coronavirus (COVID-19) Health Alert

The Government of Western Australia has declared a State of Emergency for Western Australia. The situation changes often; please inquire with our medical receptionists about the relevant steps taken to slow the spread.

Unsure of the situation or if an emergency lockdown occurs? Please attempt to confirm your appointment before coming.

Please reschedule your appointment, and DO NOT ENTER our facilities, if you:
Have been in contact with someone who has a confirmed case of Coronavirus COVID-19; OR
Have a fever, coughing, sore throat, shortness of breath, or any cold/flu like symptoms.

If you fit this criteria, you may check your symptoms using healthdirect's Coronavirus (COVID-19) Symptom Checker. You should then call ahead to your doctor or hospital Emergency Department before presenting yourself there. If you are experiencing severe symptoms, call '000' and advise the operator while remaining in self quarantine.

Western Ultrasound for Women encourages all to download and activate the SafeWA app to improve contact tracing.
