Our Sonographers

Our dedicated team of sonographers are highly trained, sub-specialist professionals. They have all obtained further qualifications in ultrasound following graduation in medical imaging with a special interest in obstetrics and gynaecology. Their role combines anatomy, physics, pathophysiology, fetal maternal anomalies and pelvic pathology.

Our sonographers pride themselves in their superior standard of patient care, understanding and empathy for you. They may ask you at the beginning of your scan any past medical history that may help with the interpretation of your scan, they will explain the scan to you, and will answer any questions about the examination that you may have.

Coronavirus (COVID-19) Health Alert

The Government of Western Australia has declared a State of Emergency and a Public Health Emergency. As guided by WA Health, all patients and staff are required to wear a mask whilst in the practice, unless exempt. The situation changes often. Please inquire with us about the relevant steps taken to slow the spread.

Please reschedule your appointment, and DO NOT ENTER our facilities, if you:
Have been in contact with someone who has a confirmed case of Coronavirus COVID-19; OR
Have a fever, coughing, sore throat, shortness of breath, or any cold/flu like symptoms.

If you fit this criteria, please check your symptoms using healthdirect's Coronavirus (COVID-19) Symptom Checker. If you are showing respiratory or flu-like symptoms, telephone your doctor or hospital Emergency Department before presenting yourself. If you are experiencing severe symptoms, call '000' and advise the operator you are in self quarantine because of COVID-19 risk.

Western Ultrasound for Women encourages all to download and activate the SafeWA app to improve contact tracing.

Western Ultrasound is committed to the risk mitigation of Coronavirus COVID-19 as one of our priorities for patient safety and quality of care.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic there may be changes to regular operating hours. We apologise in advance for any inconvenience arising from measures we're taking for the safety of staff and patients.
