The Company

Western Ultrasound for Women has been at the forefront of the introduction of screening for fetal abnormality, chromosomal anomalies and invasive testing (CVS and amniocentesis). It was the first specialist ultrasound practice to introduce NIPT (non-invasive pre-natal testing) for chromosomal anomalies in Western Australia in 2012. The practice has always provided patients with state of the art imaging technology and was the first to introduce 3D – 4D imaging into Western Australia.  This is also the only private imaging practice in Western Australia to offer Lipiodol flushing for the treatment of unexplained infertility.

Our aim is not simply to provide patients with a report on the status of their pregnancy but to demonstrate what we are able to identify on ultrasound and communicate that information in a way that is easy to comprehend and reassuring.

We recognise that when situations are not straight forward it is stressful for our patients and in such situations, information should be given in a professional and compassionate manner.

Our practice has provided diagnostic ultrasound across all areas of obstetric and gynecological practice including fertility management, investigation of pelvic pathology both pre- and post-menopausal and disorders of pelvic floor function and anatomy.
